Every once in a while, you’ll probably find yourself with an extra guest in your place; from a friend crashing with you for the weekend, to your bestie needing somewhere to stay, to your out-of-town sibling staying with you while they visit.

It feels nice to show a friend or loved one some love, especially if it’s someone you don’t get to see often.

So, can friends or family sleepover during your stay? If so, let’s find out below how to look for this information at Uniplaces.com.

How do I know if overnight guest is allowed in the listing before I send the booking request?

There are two ways to know if your landlord allows or not overnight guests.

1. By reading the listing page’s House Rules

Go to the listing you’re interested in and check under the “House Rules” section.

If the toothbrush icon is not crossed out, it means the landlord is okay ✅ with you having friends and family over to stay.

Occasional overnight guests are allowed on the Listing’s page

2. By using filters

During your search for accommodation on the Uniplaces website, open the “Filters” and look for the section called “House Rules”.

Select the filter labelled “Overnight guests allowed” to open a selection of listings for which the landlord allows friends and family to stay overnight.

However, keep in mind that even in cases where landlords allow overnight guests, they may impose certain rules, such as a limit on how long they can stay or even extra costs.
